In 2006 the Board of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) launched EANM Forschungs GmbH (EARL) as an initiative to harmonise quantification in nuclear medicine imaging.

EARL’s main objective is to improve nuclear medicine and its practice and to advance scientific initiatives as well as clinical research projects.
